Development Company Founder Gerald Monter

Gerald Monter is proud to live the "American Dream." In 1951, Gerald Monter founded The Holiday Organization. After creating his company, Gerald Monter expanded it year after year, and today it is one of the premier family owned development companies. While Gerald Monter lives and works primarily in New York, his company's development projects extend from New York to Florida. Gerald Monter is the founded The Holiday Organization, which he created in 1951 to develop real estate properties. It was originally called Holiday Park Inc, but the name changed when the company expanded to also building apartments, office buildings, and shopping centers.

Gerald Monter's company has built thousands of homes and buildings over the years. In some cases, the homes and residential buildings were built under other names but all were developed under The Holiday Organization as the parent company. Thousands of homes and apartment buildings built by The Holiday Organization are in New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida. 

Gerald Monter's development projects include homes in: Del Ray Beach, Florida; Boynton Beach, Florida; Lake Worth, Florida; Coral Springs, Florida; and North Miami Beach, Florida. Currently, Gerald Monter and The Holiday Organization work on real estate development projects in two states. The projects include a subdivision in Lake Worth, Florida, a subdivision in Shirley, New York, and a gated community in St. James, New York. 

Gerald Monter hoped when he first founded his business back in 1951 that it would grow to be the successful business that it is today. With thousands of homes and other projects completed, he has made enough money to live a comfortable life. However, with his wealth, Gerald Monter decided to give back to the community around him. He has given generously to many organizations.  He has given money to health charities and organizations as well as social organizations like the Tilles Center for Performing Arts.

Gerald Monter used the wealth accumulated through his income as a business owner to support different cancer organizations. In 2006, Gerald Monter donated the money for the naming of the Monter Cancer Center. The center provides state of the art oncological services and care, to cancer patients in a tranquil environment.
